THE HISTORICAL COLLECTIONS COUNCIL Funding The mission of the HCC is to promote the early California painters and their art. Education about the art is a primary focus, along with conservation of these valuable paintings, and making it possible for people to view them. With this in mind, the HCC has taken part in funding a number of projects and the following are a few examples.
